August 1 through October 15 is the BEST TIME to Evict Bats from Your Attic.
For many adaptable bats in New Jersey, attics in buildings make a warm, safe place to raise pups in the summer or to hibernate in the winter. Once they find a roost that suits them, they’ll return year after year.
If there’s a bat colony living in your attic and you don’t wish for them to stay, now is the best time of year to “evict” them
August 1 – October 15.
Exclusion is a bat-friendly process using one-way exit devices, so bats can safely leave on their own but not re-enter the roost space.
