Since 1924, the Public Health Nursing Division of the Ocean County Health Department has maintained that health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. The Public Health Nursing Division is uniquely prepared to foster and teach positive public health values that will ensure the health of the residents of Ocean County.
