The Health Planning unit is a resource for residents and community based organizations to obtain health status data on their community.  In addition to health statistics, the Health Planning unit is responsible for numerous planning projects such as the implementation of NJ Local Information Network Communication System (NJ LINCS) within Ocean County, Bioterrorism preparedness and planning as well as various community health-planning projects currently underway.

The health planner currently works closely with numerous community-based organizations to address needs identified in an attempt to maintain and improve the health status of Ocean County residents.
